APPLIED TECHNOLOGY WOODWORKING I

 

     

This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the technical processes used in the woodworking lab. Experiences will be gained in the use of hand tools, machines and production operations to provide useful products. Students will learn how to design a  product using Creo 3.0 parametric CAD software. They will create a product from the drawings in the wood lab.  Students will also gain an understanding of Computer Aided Manufacturing through the use of the Aspire software program and the ShopBot, a CNC router.  Safety will be stressed in all aspects of this course.
