Mashpee High School was chosen to present at the 2015 MassCUE & M.A.S.S Technology Conference. Four Advanced Computer Game Design students were selected to represent our school at the conference that was held at Gillette Stadium on October 22rd, 2015. Students demonstrated how 3D computer software and hardware can be utilized to create interactive visualizations. C# programming language was used to develop and edit scripts to control the scenes. Students worked with models, meshes, textures, materials, particle dynamics and sounds to create the 3D interactive visualizations. Unity Pro 5, Maya 2015, Mudbox 2015, CREO Parametric 3.0, Photoshop CS5, Skanect and Adobe Sound Booth CS5 software programs were used to create the scenes. The students led workshop attendees through various 3-D virtual worlds and simulations they designed using Oculus 3D goggles.

This year was the third year in a row that Mashpee presented at MassCUE. In 2013 we presented a student showcase entitled "3D Printing in Computer Aided Drafting and Animation". There is a MassCUE section in the 3D printing tab of this website that covers our presentation. In 2014 we presented a student showcase and workshop about Augmented Reality entitled "Project Based Learning through 3D Design". There is an Augmented Reality tab in the main section of this website that covers our presentation.
